Despite the fact that technology
helps and benefit us, in some ways, it can also detriment us some greater
harmful issues such as health problems triggered by excessive using of
technology. Some might be serious and some might be not but the point here is that
it is damaging and harmful on whatever extent.
Technology is something we, each
and every mankind, have and need nowadays but despite that, we tend to abuse
the use of technology that leads to a more serious situation such as technology
related health problems. Here are few of the notable technology related health
problems that you might be experiencing today or might experience in the near future:

disorder
Too much artificial light from
computer or smartphone screens might affect melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone)
production, preventing us from having a deep and restorative sleep. Not only it
can prevent us from sleeping peacefully but can also cause stress and depression
in both men and women.
Computer
Vision Syndrome (CVS)
Are
you fasten at your desktop or cellphone for an extensive amount of time and
often experience mild to moderate dry or watery eyes? You’re most probably
experiencing computer vision syndrome. The outcome cause by CVS would be increasing
evaporation of tears, blurred vision, double vision, dry, red eyes, eye
irritation, headaches and neck or back pain.
Carpal
Tunnel Vision
Is a painful condition of the
hands and fingers. It is a nerve disorder condition that occurs at the wrist
directing to pain, sensory changes and loss function within the hand. Few
symptoms of this disorder are numbness in the fingers , burning, tingling
sensation in the palm, pain radiating in upward direction of the hand,
tightening of joints and fingers, and
poor grip while holding objects.
Deep
Vein Thrombosis
Deep vein thrombosis is a blood
clot in one of the deep veins in our body. It could cause pain and swelling in
the leg and may lead to complications such as pulmonary embolism (blockage in
the pulmonary artery-which is truly risky).
Though technology inhabits with
us, in this generation, always remember that excessive usage of this can lead
to greater regrets in the future. So don't underestimate every single ache you feel inside your body because it might lead to much greater complications such as these.
